Armand the plumber was very professional, and I had my gas safety check and my boiler checked in time. Armand was also able to respond to all my questions. So it is a 5 star's evaluation for me.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rapid response from Armand to a Google Local Services request. Good comms via WhatsApp. Same day attendance. I live in a tricky area for parking but Armand managed that without complaint. Quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem with my heating system, made efficiency improvements, and taught me a few things along the way for future reference. The following morning I had a worsening situation due to air and pressure changes settling in the system overnight (unavoidable) but Armand was responding to my messages from 6:51am and helping me to relay instructions to my tenant in real time to apply a final fix. The heating system is now working incredibly effectively and efficiently. I'm burning hardly any gas to keep the property warm. Gas bill reducing substantially now. As with everything these days, skilled people don't come cheap; you get what you pay for and I would recommend Armand to others.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Yell. Armand arrived the same morning as I called, keeping me informed as to his expected arrival time. He was very efficient at sorting the problem, which was stopped a leaking pipe. He wore a medical mask and gloves , and was very aware of social distancing and of not touching surfaces unnecessarily, enabling my lodger to remain safely at work in the same room whilst he was there. He is very polite and friendly and gives a clear explanation of what needs doing. He is my go-to person whenever I need a plumber, having been here three times now, and I highly recommend him .

FAQ:

What is a soakaway installation?

A soakaway installation is the process of creating an underground drainage system that safely collects rainwater and allows it to soak naturally into the surrounding ground. A typical rainwater soakaway is connected to your guttering, surface drains, or a rainwater downpipe soakaway, helping to prevent flooding, standing water, and excess surface water around your property. Professional soakaway installations are designed to suit your property’s drainage needs while complying with rainwater soakaway building regulations where applicable. If you’re looking for soakaway installation near me, contact our experienced team for expert advice and a free quotation.

How deep does a soakaway have to be?

There isn’t a standard depth for every soakaway installation. The required depth depends on factors such as your soil type, the amount of rainwater the system needs to handle, the size of the soakaway, and the results of a percolation test. Most domestic soakaways are typically installed between 1 and 2 metres deep, but every property is different. As experienced soakaway installers, we assess your site before installing a soakaway to ensure it performs efficiently and meets current drainage requirements. Get in touch with us today if you need professional soakaway installation London or the surrounding areas.

Can I install a soakaway myself?

In most cases, no. While it may seem straightforward, installing a soakaway requires careful planning, excavation, drainage calculations, soil testing, and knowledge of rainwater soakaway building regulations. Installing it incorrectly can lead to flooding, drainage failures, damage to your property, or costly repairs later on. If you’re planning to install a soakaway, it’s always best to leave the work to experienced soakaway installers who can design and install the system correctly the first time. Contact us today for a reliable soakaway installation service and expert advice.

How much will it cost to install a new soakaway?

The cost of drain soakaway installation depends on several factors, including the size of the soakaway, your soil conditions, the amount of excavation required, access to the installation area, the type of drainage system being installed, and whether you’re installing soakaway drains for a new build or replacing an existing system. Every property is different, so it’s difficult to give an accurate price without assessing the site. If you’d like a personalised quote for soakaway installation, contact our team today. We’ll be happy to discuss your requirements and recommend the most suitable rainwater soakaway drainage solution for you.
